netgirl_y2kSo. Three things that are making me happy today. I'm going to aim for three every day. It's a good number, I think.
1. My dogs. And the way they follow me from room to room as I'm doing housework. I do realise that if anyone ever constructs a machine enabling us to hear canine thoughts what I'll hear is: "Don't let her escape, she can reach the shelf with the dog biscuits on it." But until that day I chose to believe they just like being close to me.
2. Tiny penguins. Wearing jumpers. For great justice.
3. Shopping for icons. I got a paid dreamwidth account recently which comes with 100 icon slots. Now, usually I only bother having one icon of whichever female character I'm crushing on that month, which is pretty much appropriate in all contexts so I never really saw the point of having more. But then I realised that now I can have icons of all of the women and I'm scrolling through icon communities looking at pretty things.

Date: 2011-05-23 08:04 pm (UTC)...But you're right. I have about 5 or 6 icons with Angel in and about 4 with Katie and- and- *sigh* I just won't have enough chances to use them. And if they languish unused, that will just make me sad. WOES.
I console myself with the hope that I'll acquire some more crushes before my paid time runs out.
