By which I mean my yuletide fic is finished, and finished ludicrously, ludicrously early. Not only that, but I am actually quite proud of what I've written.

Honestly, yuletide this year has been so easy that it's almost felt like cheating.

At least made some progress on mine today. Just over 1K in and have notes for the conclusion - that so totally counts, right?

That totally counts. I just struck gold this year in that I got the perfect assignment that gave me an idea straight away for a fic that lent itself to being quite short. Last year I was writing write up to the deadline, and the year before that I didn't even start until the day before fics were due. So, this year=gloating.

Well done you! I wrote 600 words of mine and saved it as a googledoc. When I reopened it, it was blank. No idea what I did, but clearly nothing good... I'm taking a notebook with me for the four hours I'm on trains tomorrow...

Oh, I hate it when that happens. Especially because it invariably kills any motivation I had to write the fic. Good luck getting something done on the train.
