I am aware that I have been Mrs. Grumpy Face for the past wee while. So I am snerching a meme from woldy because it's not all bad.

1. Post about something that made you happy today, even if it's just a small thing.

2. Do this every day for eight days.

So. Three things that are making me happy right now.

1. The world is not ending today. Admittedly, this is sort of a cheat because it is something you can delight in each and every day. But it's even better when crazy people have said the world is going to end and then it doesn't and you can laugh at them. That said, if the world does end I would like zombies, please. It's the only sort of apocalypse I'm remotely prepared for.

2. I am writing a fic I've been stalled on forever and it's not making me want to cry or set myself on fire as penance for all the bad bad words. In fact, I'll go so far as to say that it might actually be quite good once someone beats some consistent comma usage into it.

3. Bridget Regan's face. I've got S2 of Legend of the Seeker on. I'm not properly watching it, but it's on in the background as I potter round. Which means I can be reading or doing something that annoys me and I'll glance at the tab where it's playing and there's her pretty pretty face.

And those are my happy making things.

I APPROVE OF ALL OF THESE THINGS. ESPECIALLY BRIDGET REGAN'S FACE. sorry to hear you've been feeling like mrs. grumpy. :(

so i just watched the 2nd episode of being human, and hil and i are thoroughly enjoying it. (i think they cut the pilot w/ different actors from our american dvds. silly) and the SLASH is like all over the place. it's like written on the walls of their apartment. it makes me happy.

I KNOW. THEY'RE SO SLASHY. Although, I have to admit the first series is all about the OT3 for me. At one point I was thoroughly in favour of them starting a band called Annie and Her Boys. Hmm, you're not really missing anything with the original pilot, there's some nice set up, but lets just say that the recasting of Annie and Mitchell was very much for the best.

they just all love each other so much! yes, the OT3 is rather brilliant. and Annie and Her Boys would be the best thing ever!
