A List of Good Things

1. Temp job/Grandmother/Family situation has been slightly resolved. This was accomplished by bypassing Mum entirely, taking Dad out for a pint and making several excellent and intelligent points. Including pointing out that it's really not about the money, as he and Mum have been more than generous in making sure that I don't suffer financially from looking after Gran, it's about earning the money rather than being handed it. It's a self respect thing, really.

2. Today I got a marvellous haircut for half what it usually costs me for a slightly rubbish haircut. Seriously, I look like I should be hurling knives at people in the Midlands. And for those of you who didn't watch Legend of the Seeker, that means that I have pretty hair.
