Having returned from my impromptu German sojourn I plan to spent the day by turns unpacking, doing the washing, and catching up on the DW, Elementary, and OUaT finales. Also, doing what appears to be a happy little meme:
I currently have 147 works archived at the AO3. Pick a number from 1 (the most recent) to 147 (the first thing I posted there), and I’ll tell you three things I currently like about it.

Date: 2013-05-24 12:06 pm (UTC)1. It is Discworld and so it has footnotes. I would have footnotes in everything if I could, they allow me to sidestep my usual hot mess of asides, brackets, and parentheses.
2. I like this description of the indomitable Lady Sybil: [8] There were a number of ways to describe Lady Sybil; a miracle of corsetry with a kind smile was generally considered to be a good compromise between accuracy and politeness.
3. This exchange reminds me fondly of my own time at university, without the wizards, obviously.
"They expect us to pay for our education?" said one horrified trainee wizard.
"They expect us to get an education too?" moaned another, flinching as though he thought that he might be at any moment hit with an unexpected flying education.

Date: 2013-05-24 12:53 pm (UTC)1. The summary: The Doctor is dead, long live River Song. Concise, to the point, no one can complain about unwarned for character death.
2. That Melody gets to keep her Time Lord powers, and that she slowly comes to identify as River Song over time.
3. That the whole thing is about a recovering psychopath and a prickly blue box learning to live with each other, and I still felt totally justified in tagging it as female friendship.

Date: 2013-05-25 11:20 pm (UTC)1. Morgana/Vivian! Which is still my favourite pairing that doesn't exist outside my head and their interactions are my favourite part of this. This was also the time I sort of invented a rare femslash pairing, there were never that many stories, but there were a few, including a big bang, which I like to think can be traced in some small way back to this.
2. That even though it was a LGBT Fest fic and it's about Morgana being a lesbian, and she sleeps with basically every eligible woman in Camelot, the central relationship is still the sibling one between her and Arthur.
3. That Merlin himself is not in it. Sad, but true.

Date: 2013-05-29 01:19 am (UTC)1. That Morgana gets the fuck out of Camelot and finds herself a nice queen to serve someplace else, in this case Mithian.
2. That Morgana changes and grows into a better person (which I think she is capable of) without ever apologising or repenting for what she did in Camelot (which she probably isn't, her conviction that she's the wronged party there is too deeply ingrained in her personality, hence the whole getting the fuck out thing)
3. The friendship between Morgana and Aithusa, and Aithusa's wordless conviction that Morgana is worth saving.
