Favorite character(s): DONNA. Always and forever Donna Noble. The Doctor, while there might be odd individual things that he may do that I don't like or don't get, the Doctor, the endless amazing Doctor in the TARDIS, saving all of us, even when we don't know it, I've loved that since I was three.
Least Favorite character(s): I feel terrible for saying this, but River Song. I love many of the ideas of the character, and I love Alex Kingston's performance, but a character who's main storyline is her choice whether to turn her inescapable obsession with the male lead into love or hate, who is basically, literally fridged when offscreen, that hit so many of my Do Not Want and Also, Ick buttons that I just can't...
Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Amy/Rory, Rose/Mickey, Ten/Donna in a hilarious Donna thinking some excellent sex might be good for the Doctor way.
Character(s) I find most attractive: Weirdly, I'd been seeing Catherine Tate for years, she was on British telly all the damn time and I'd never thought of her in that way, then she was on Doctor Who and it was like, Wow, breasts...
A random thought: Steven Moffat is a truly brilliant writer of individual episodes, and an awful, awful showrunner.
An unpopular opinion: I could cheerfully never see River or the Ponds again, I hope Moffat decides to do Sherlock full time, and I would love to see how Smith plays the Doctor when not surrounded by things that I mostly hate.
Canon OTP(s): Doctor/TARDIS. For all my ranting above, The Doctor's Wife is the finest episode of Doctor Who ever.
Non-canon OTP(s): Donna/Rose, Thank you, Turn Left
Most badass character(s): The Doctor.
Pairing(s) I am not a fan of: Ten/Rose, which was less to do with the pairing itself and more to do with how I don't like Doctor/companion pairings and that, I thought, came dangerously close to making one canon. Eleven/River, for all the reasons I was talking about above re: River's characterisation, she imprinted on him, indifference was never an option, that's incredibly skeevey to me. Not to mention that I have major issues with any man who speaks to any woman the way the Doctor spoke to River in The Wedding of River Song. Um, this may play into my Go Away, Moffat issues.
Character(s) I feel the writers screwed over: MARTHA, and to a lesser extent Donna, which is another reason I don't like the Ten/Rose relationship, it became, to me, the plot that Would Not Die, and didn't give the successive companions a fair shake.
Favourite friendship(s): Ten & Donna. Best Friends in Space. I would have watched ten series of this show.
Character(s) I want to adopt or be adopted by: WILFRED MOTT. OH YES.
