I don't really have much to say about The Almost People as the entire two parter seemed like a set up for those last five minutes. Actually, if I've got a niggle about series six, it's that with the exception of The Doctor's Wife I feel like all the individual episodes have been scarified in the service of the larger arc. Which, for all I know, might seem like an act of unparalleled genius in the autumn, but I'm finding it slightly irksome to watch on a week to week basis.
But. Those last five minutes. Amy. Oh, Amy, Amy, Amy.

Also, River.
Oh, and allow me to interrupt my habitual pretending Merlin doesn't exist to rec you Antebellum a gorgeous, gorgeous Gwen/Morgana vid by
such_heights who manages to do more justice to the girls relationship in four and a half minutes than the show managed in thirty odd episodes, and that is because she is suprememely talented and excellent like that.
