World Didn't End. Time For Cake.

netgirl_y2kI don't know if it was just that nothing was ever going to live up to the unparalleled genius of last week, but that was possibly the single dullest episode of Doctor Who I've ever seen.
Anyway. Three things that are making me happy today.
1. I was on a train this lunchtime which rumbled past Murrayfield and we saw what I think were the Edinburgh rugby club training, fourteen of them in their strips, one of them in a lime green, what one of my fellow passengers informed me was a mankini. I don't know if this qualifies as something that made me happy, but it certainly made me laugh.
2. Lookit! It's a titchy wee owl!
3. The kudos feature at the AO3, which I understand some people aren't sold on. But I started putting every kudos I got into an e-mail folder and sometimes I open the folder and get a wee squishy feeling in my heart. Squish.
