I expected it to be satisfying to see Seven in a Starfleet uniform in the same way it was satisfying to see Troi in one after years of catsuits, but I think that narrative itch had already been scratched by her normal person Fenris ranger clothes.
I wouldn't even mind if it felt like they were deliberately writing Seven and Raffi as having a volatile, on again, off again relationship. But it feels more like they just don't care about it. I mean, I'm invested in their relationship I think, mostly, because I'm invested in Seven not being straight, but if pushed I'm not even sure I could tell you what it is they like about each other.
