It's a Mystery
Jul. 15th, 2023 06:54 pmI went to Glasgow Pride today and I always wonder why I'm not as popular as I was the year Freya was a tiny, adorable puppy and I put a rainbow bandana on her and took her with me.
It's an unsolvable mystery, honestly.
I did look at my grouchy eight year dog who hates: crowds, other dogs, men, some women, strange places, loud noises, rain, a lack of rain, and unnecessarily long walks. Freya looked back at me with an expression that said Absolutely Fucking Not.
I am also forty years old and not on the pull (is that what the kids still call it, idk), so I had a quick pint after the march and then came home to make tea and curl up on the couch with the dog.
All in all, a pretty great Saturday was had, including by Freya who got to sleep on the people bed while I was out.
