I'd have to say that 20th Century Ghosts was a really good read, and a great intro into Joe Hill's style of writing, but my personal favorite was Horns. It really spoke to me and I loved the way the entire story came together. Although, if you are more into strong female characters, then I would suggest N0S4A2. The Fireman has a female lead, but the story doesn't come close to N0S4A2.
