looooved the Dany/Missendei stuff so much. next week is going to be SO satisfying when she just goes in there and fucks their shit up. and i am with you on dragon queen mode- that's what makes me love this Dany storyline so much. i often wish GRRM had just done a time jump rather than ADwD- it really was a huge step back for her. so i am just going to sit and enjoy Dany being unrepentantly awesome for a whole 2 seasons.
UGH. that scene. yes, because in this incredibly dense storyline, what we really need is more of Podrick Payne's sex life. honestly, scenes like that make me ashamed to be a fan of the show. and make me think HBO has *no idea* that people other than straight d00ds watch this show.
i was really impressed with the scenic stuff for Riverrun. they made it look really pretty, much more beautiful than i imagined in the book. and the Blackfish was perfect.
