On the plus side, I did get to awkwardly flirt with a policewoman

Open in a tab for days now I've had a, frankly, pretty boring post about football and books. To sum up: I read the entirety of Code Name Verity going LESBIANS! but, then, I do that with everything, and most of the Euro games I've seen so far have been apathetic at best, and I am, for reasons that are not entirely clear at this juncture, supporting Germany.

So, instead of that post, have a list of things that have befallen me over the past seven days.

-My grandmother went missing, was returned to me at one in the morning by a very understanding policewoman.

-Minor car crash, no harm done except to my no claims bonus, required the attendance of a slightly less understanding police officer.

-Important component of the washing machine exploded or melted or somesuch and flooded the kitchen. No police this time, also no clean clothes; today's ensemble is a pair of "skinny" jeans purchased in a fit of unthinking optimism/total break from reality and a t-shirt with a picture of an owl wearing a bowler hat.

Okay, that was only three things. It felt like more in my head.

*hugs* I think that 3 is more than enough things (and far more than neccessary) to consider it a truly rubbish week.

On the plus side, you own a t-shirt with an owl wearing a bowler hat on it.

I think even temporarily losing your grandmother counts as at least five things.
