People can say what they like about AO3 (and I realise they can say quite a bit, and I don't even necessarily disagree with all of it) but after years of ff.net their uploading system was a godsend.

I have tried to engage with tumblr a number of times, but it's just not for me. And the the thing was the only thing that ever provoked me to reblog or comment was things where people were wrong on the internet and it quickly became a blog almost exclusively of things I hated. Which is just not the way I want to do fandom, you know?
