Oh, this is brilliant! I love the slow progression from the childish humor to the darker, grimmer times, but still with that thread of Morgana and Arthur's affection for each other running through it. Especially <3 Morgana's sly, matter-of-fact sense of humor - so many lines made me laugh out loud! - and I also really enjoyed how you dealt with the various romances and friendships in her life - that Gwen ended up as her best friend rather than her lover; that Vivian was a bit whiny and wasn't the One True Love, but was still fun and charming; how you dealt with Arthur and Uther. The whole thing is affecting without being melodramatic, and realistic without being completely grim - an uncommon sort of fic, but very lovely.
