I think it helped that I missed all the fandom wank when it came to PoI. I started watching the show after all the upset over Carter's death had come and gone. Not that I wasn't upset, but I knew it was coming and I knew there was good stuff on the other side of it. And while I still think Finch should have died too, Shaw and Fusco (and Bear!) as the new Team Machine was what I'd predicted, and an ending I was happy with.
