brb, ordering the first Shadows of the Apt book.

Yeah, there was something off about the way Children of Time was blurbed, because I'm sure I passed it by in bookshops more than once, because it never sounded like it was quite in my wheelhouse. It was made to sound like just another generational ship set sci-fi. No one was more surprised than me when I finally read it and there was a spider planet, and I effing loved it!
