Actually, the female inheritance AU works as the same 'verse (just, if you squint) until you get to the last section, because If you've already had a section about how Ned & Cat can't marry because they're both heirs to great houses, then you can't have a latter one about Sansa being Robb's heir, because there wouldn't be a Sansa or a Robb. It's one of those things that nobody else cares about, and which frustrates me to this day.
