Walk of Punishment
I have fallen victim to an apocalyptic death cold, luckily I only really had two reactions to this week's Game of Thrones.
Obviously, the part of me that was prepared to fly to New Zealand and start punching people in the face if Eowyn's "I am no man" line was cut from Return of the King fucking adored Dany's "All men must die... but we are not men."
Dany's stuff is definitely proving to be a highlight for me this season. I get a bit fixated on Sansa sometimes and forget how much I love Dany too, and I think she's at her best when she's in full on unrepentant dragon queen mode. And this year she's doing things to me.
Congratulations, in the scene with Tyrion, Bronn, and Pod in the brothel you've created a scene so devoid of merit that not even the presence of Peter Dinklage could salvage anything from it. You'd get a prize for that except, ew, yuck, you deserve no prizes.
It was even more annoying coming on the back of the scene where the Lannister siblings are playing passive aggressive power games with furniture, proving that the show can do subtle character dynamics when it wants to.
And on that note, my germs and I are off to bed.

Oh man, the smile I get on my face whenever Dany shows up is ridiculous. Best line of the night.

Ah well, I shall just focus on Dany and Missandei, Sansa, Shae and the Tyrells, and the many ways Cersei has of conveying that she's surrounded by idiots using only her face, for those are the best bits.
I hope we get a reveal that Dany's understood High Valyrian all along, ideally just before she burns the entire place to charcoal. It will be epic.
