Little Sister: And that's me finished my thesis.
Me: Seriously? Congratulations.
Little Sister: I'm handing it in on Friday, so I may need you to take me to the pub afterwards and buy me many, many drinks.
Me: Sure, but it can't be on Friday because I've got to go to a birthday party.
Little Sister: Whose?
Me: Mine.
Little Sister: It's your birthday?
Me: Yup.
Little Sister: When?
Me: On Friday, I'm having a party.

So, do I get to be mad at her for forgetting my birthday, or does she get to be mad at me for not inviting her to my party in the first place?
